Who is Parfum Flower Company?
We’re an importer and exporter of the world’s most stunning garden roses, part of the Coloriginz brand based in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. We collaborate with top-notch growers year-round, including Alexandra Farms, Rosaprima Roses, Tambuzi Garden Roses and Uhuru Flowers. As well as a select group of seasonal growers including WANS Roses, Rosen Kretz and Klumpen Roses.
These exquisite roses are delivered to our cold store, where they’re hydrated, quality checked, and then sold to leading wholesalers across the globe. What makes us unique? We cater to all needs, whether it’s just 12 stems of White O’Hara or 10,000 stems of Juliet.
Exciting news! We’re about to introduce a fabulous new collection of roses under our brand, The Rose Company. Stay tuned for more details.
Why Use Garden Roses in Weddings?
Are you always on the lookout for ways to make each wedding unique and memorable, and garden roses are perfect for achieving this! Just take a look at this image of WABARA Miyabi—doesn’t it just speak for itself?
These roses open beautifully, creating a stunning visual display, and they can also help the couple save money since they take up so much space. Plus, our collection includes a wide range of fragrant roses, which add an extra special touch to any event.
Our beautiful Prince Jardinier from the Meilland Collection which has the most wonderful fragrance. She is a unusual rose as she blooms open very fast but then will stay in that shape for days.
Don’t Be Afraid of Garden Roses
We know that some people are hesitant to use garden roses, but there’s no need to be! With proper care, they can last a long time, and most garden roses are at their peak after 4-5 days when they’re fully open.
Here are some quick tips to keep your garden roses looking their best. For more detailed advice, check out our Insight:
- Cut and place them in clean water with food right away, leaving the collars on (if they have them). Hydrate for 4-6 hours.
- Remove collars and condition the roses as usual.
- Let them open at room temperature for 4 days.
- Don’t remove the outer guard petals just yet.
- Once opened, store them in a cool place until needed.
- If necessary, remove guard petals, though often they won’t be visible anymore.
Wondering why some roses have no collar? Don’t worry! These are the ones that need a bit more time to open, so we remove the collar when they arrive at the cold store. Some local growers skip collars altogether due to shorter transport times.
If your roses are looking a bit floppy, double up some brown paper, lay the roses flat, and wrap the paper around their heads and stems. This will help them hydrate faster and look their best when it’s time to use them.
A word of caution—there are a few garden roses out there that can be temperamental, so always do your research. If you’re ever unsure, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to help.
